    Only a sport run by Selig could dream this up. They need to ban it in the stands first.

    What a crock...

    I agree with some of the writer's observations and even would add a few items myself if MLB follows through with this...

    1) Let's take the whole system back to before the AL was formed and Ban Johnson brought beer into the stadium for fans. No Alcohol at MLB games period. Players or Fans.

    2) That said, NO Alcohol (i.e. Beer) Company sponsorship's. Rename Busch, Coors and Miller Stadiums.

    3) Along those same lines, no more 'Official Beer' of MLB for Budweiser.

    4) Suspensions - same as PED - for player's busted for DUI (and pot Mr Lincecum).

    If they are serious about this, they can't half ass it. it needs to be either all or none IMHO.
