Understanding Lemieux KOHO Factory Codes

This past Friday night, I attended my son's hockey club dinner and won a game used/autographed '96-'97 Mario Lemieux KOHO Revolution 2240 stick. I'm new to the hockey game used world, and was looking for some help in understanding the KOHO factory codes. The code printed on the stick is 831 5 and there appears to be an "embossed" 03 near the blade. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
