Not sure if everyone has seen the new labor agreement mentions that they will be doing blood testing for HGH. This is good, so do you guys think there will be alot of players failing.

I suppose there are ways to tell from the tests but from what I have read HGH only stays in your systems for a few hours.

Though in reality I'm sure there are other designer drugs out there right now that nobody has a test for and only an elite few know about.

Furthermore, since baseball implemented blood testing in the minors in 2010, only one player is known to have tested positive.

Here is some updated info and links regarding the HGH Testing portion of the new baseball collective bargaining agreement:

Blood testing for HGH will not be occur during the season without reasonable suspicion, reports Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports (on Twitter (http://twitter.com/#!/JeffPassan/status/139034766778441728)). ESPN's Buster Olney says (on Twitter (http://twitter.com/#!/Buster_ESPN/status/139037816125521921)) that offseason testing will begin next winter, 2012-2013.
Olney also mentions that players will be tested in Spring Training "to determine energy levels" after testing, then the results will be discarded. The two sides will then determine how to proceed (all (http://twitter.com/#!/Buster_ESPN/status/139034872546209793) Twitter (http://twitter.com/#!/Buster_ESPN/status/139035193578225664) links (http://twitter.com/#!/Buster_ESPN/status/139035398394486784)).
