1974 Chris Chambliss game used bat, shows tons of use. Seller said he received it at Yankee stadium cause his father was a security guard. But story doesn't check out, two years before guy said he received it and bat was ordered with the Indians. Plus he had another item, which again didn't match up with being used when he said. Either way, still a Chris Chambliss gamer.

Hey all got these in today. Got them from a guy who knew what game he got them from but didn't know they player. Well did a little research and pretty sure i know who it is.

This is my 2nd pair of Game used gloves.
I have been able to photomatch these as well. I'm 99% sure they were worn by Jeff Zgonina.

Just picked up this Tigers Grandy Gamer. It was cracked July 12, 2008, one of the most hammered Granderson bats I have seen. Likely used to hit a home run the night before. Such a pleasant surprise.

Plus, I love the Cano home run bat, I would love to own one at one point, so that may have to go on my list :)

1996 Joe Carter Game Issued (possibly used) Blue Jays jersey Set 3.

Ive been pretty gratefull I found this, since Joe Carter has been one of my favorite players growing up. I got the OK from Rudy (glory-jays.com) who advised me that the jersey displays all the hallmarks of an issued/used jersey from 1996, which is awesome. Since its a set-3 it obviously was probably used towards the tail end of the season (Which was also AS year for him).

Hi! I'm fairly new here, been lurking...

But I just picked up a couple GU bats -- that doubled my collection!

Years ago, I got an Alan Trammell and also a Kirk Gibson gamer. Well, this week I added Lou Whitaker and Darrell Evans. I think I'm going to try to get a 1984 starting line-up together! (They don't all have to have been used in that year...)

LOl! couldnt help it dude.. this shirt was too awesome to pass up! statistically he had a "not worth mentioning game".. but i watched the game on NFL rewind,,,he was playing hard.. he was playing reciever on most plays until he got hurt late in the fourth...plus ive never seen such good player wear for a 1 game jersey.of course i would love a TD shirt.. in the end he wore the shirt..thats all that matters

I can't solidly confirm whether he wore a 42 but I've only seen size 42 in pro-cut form.

Waited quite awhile before I pulled the trigger on a Ryan Braun bat for my 2011 Brewers Team set. Last weekend I picked up one that was nicely beat up,was MLB authenticated and then I did some homework. Turns out I photomatched it to 7/19-7/24 (4 sources) and in the four games he played he hit four home runs. The bat died happy when he split it with an RBI double on 7/26 (also photomatched).

Needless to say, I was extremely happy to get one from his MVP season and a heavily used one at that. That lasted exactly 7 days before the gut punch of Saturday' annoucement. I still think it's a gem and will rest in my set and collection, but right now it's one bittersweet bat to me.

Waited quite awhile before I pulled the trigger on a Ryan Braun bat for my 2011 Brewers Team set. Last weekend I picked up one that was nicely beat up,was MLB authenticated and then I did some homework. Turns out I photomatched it to 7/19-7/24 (4 sources) and in the four games he played he hit four home runs. The bat died happy when he split it with an RBI double on 7/26 (also photomatched).

Needless to say, I was extremely happy to get one from his MVP season and a heavily used one at that. That lasted exactly 7 days before the gut punch of Saturday' annoucement. I still think it's a gem and will rest in my set and collection, but right now it's one bittersweet bat to me.

Yes, that is where I picked up the bat. There was a dude hovering over it, so I did my other shopping, and came back an hour later. He was still hemming and hawing and on the phone, I picked it up and checked the numbers and MLB info and liked what I saw so I bought it.

The dude saw me buy it and followed me out, asking Braun bat questions and bat collecting stuff in general. He tipped me off that it was a multiple HR bat which was a welcomed surprise. He seemed bummed, but that's how it goes, I have been on the other side of that before.

Only thing is that there was no piece missing from the bill during the game. One wonders when it split off from the rest of the helmet, especially since it could not be authenticated as game used.

I'll have to figure out how to use Twitter then. Or have someone here post the question. The day before the helmet was certified as issued, Casper Wells got hit by a pitch in the elbow. He went to first base, but was taken out for a defensive replacement in the bottom of the inning. That was his last plate appearance before the helmet was certified as issued. And the helmet does match, but it was intact.
