Hey guys, I have a few ravens game worn jerseys, and was wondering if I should have them signed. Not sure how it affects the value. Any suggestions?
Thanks and peace!

I'd say it's up to the owner. Whether or not to has been argued both ways. If you want them signed, then do it. Some people don't want signatures, while I think the majority do.

If it's strictly a value question, I don't know (and wonder) if the fee for signing will be more than and value increase the signature brings.

Either way is fine....these are important things to consider.

1. Choose the correct brand marker and color.

2. Always bring your own marker tested and ready to go.

3. If it's private....don't do it....if you want it done right you need to be present and tell them exactly what you want.

4. Always sign the number....anywhere else on a jersey is tough.

Good luck!

Mulligans,

What type of marker do you prefer, for Both black and silver?

I almost always use gold or silver deco paint pen with medium or fine point. If I go with black it's a nicely worn black sharpie....new is to thin. Try to get the deco pens loosened up with a few practice signatures on paper.

I use a good size piece of poster board....put it inside the shirt and clamp it for stability. I always write exactly what I want written on an index card and give it to them. Things get crazy and they easily make mistakes if you don't hold their hand:)

If it's done right and looks nice, it shouldn't affect the value too much.
