Jimmy Wilson, an 11-year NHL veteran who played on 4 Stanley Cup Championship teams in the 1950s with the Red Wings, has died at age 82.
His death was announced by his son, Toronto coach Ron Wilson.
In addition to the Wings, Wilson also saw playing time with the Maple Leafs, Blackhawks and Rangers. He also coached for 4 teams over a 7-year NHL coaching career.
