I just acquired this South Dakota Jacks baseball jersey. I'm not sure if its retail or team-issued, but picked it up because this isn't something I've seen often with baseball jerseys. It is 100% polyester, and the interesting part is how the graphics were added to the shirt. All letters, colors, logos and even the Wilson tail "tag" were impregnated right into the material, similar to the style of russian hockey jerseys and modern motocross jerseys.
I'm not sure of the benefits of creating a jersey this way, as opposed to the traditional screening or sewn-on processes. Probably not a big deal either way, but once again not something I have seen before with a baseball shirt.
