I have a robinson type bat from the 61-67 labeling period 217S stamped on the knob. 302 in the center brand... Looking for a little bit more info on this bat. Everything seems consistent with a gamer not sure which robinson it may be if it is frank or brooks that would be great! any help would be great....

That is what I figured the lettering is in white so it looks like it is from the 61-63 period... the 217S on the knob what makes it a store model? the "S" rather than an A or B? What is the value on a bat like this...?

I am not sure that your pictures actually posted on GUU (I can't open them anyway.) Here is some information that was posted previously (see Post 2)

Dave Grob at MEARS has done significant research on Adirondack c, d, and s series bats as well, some of which is available on the public portion of the MEARS site.

What's the name on the Kren's Special bat next to the Robinson in that photo?

Here's pics of my Robinson Bat.

It has the 217 on the knob, but no letter after it. I'm guessing that makes it a store model bat?

It's 34" long with a very thick handle and very heavy.
