how do i tell if this things just a signed authentic or a game issued. i only deal in Rays jerseys so i dont know much about other teams. thanks

It's an authentic. M's jerseys will have a year tag below the size tag, specifying "Property of 2011 Seattle Mariners."

Not sure how far back it goes, but my 1994 Buhner has the year tag on it. So it's been happening for a long time.

There was a gap of 2 or 3 years when Majestic began supplying the Mariners in 2005 in which no year tags were used. I'd have to research to give an exact year, but the "Property Of" year tag first appeared around 2008 or thereabouts.

Mariners year tagging stopped from 2005-2007. It doesn't appear to have the anniversary sleeve patch so that rules out 2007. It doesn't appear to have a nameplate either, so that rules out both 2005 and 2006. They stopped using nameplates in 2007, so this could only be a jersey from 2008-2010.

It may be an obvious question but what does the inner tag code say, 6200 or 0062?
