Please help a fellow collector try to win a game worn goalie mask!

Hi Everyone,

A friend of mine who is not a forum member recently entered a contest to design Carey Price's mask to be worn in a game in March. The finalists were announced today and his is design #3 for the contest:

This was modeled off of a famous design by Bill Reid--his work is also featured on the back of Canada's $20 bill. It is hard to tell in the mask pix, but the mask paint would actually have a carved feel to it and represents Carey Price's native roots.

If any members had time and were willing to vote as many times as they could, my friend would greatly appreciate it. You can vote up to 5 times per day after clearing out your browsing history. The vote runs for less than two weeks. If his design wins, the mask will be painted in his design and then worn by Carey and he will receive the mask after the game.

In all seriousness, I voted and got the same message. Good luck to choice #3. It's not only the OP's friend's, but it is also the most aesthetically pleasing IMO.

Thanks for the help! He really appreciates it and we are trying to keep pace with design 2...they seem to be getting a vote every minute...

If you are familiar with deleting your browser history or cache, it lets you do 5 votes that way but you have to delete it after each vote...

Thanks!! If he wins, I'll be sure to post pictures of the mask in action and of it after the game!

What a great contest! I wish they had this for MLB catchers' masks. Design it, have it made, worn by the player, then you get the mask? That's awesome! I hope he wins

Yes, this is the second year of the contest. Last year a member of gameworn.net won the design and his mask was worn.

I just voted for a third time as well. Looks like #3 is double #2 at this point. Pretty incredible, compared to how it was a couple of days back. :)

His design should be announced on Feb 6 as his design had a large lead yesterday when the voting ended.

Once I have info and pix of the mask, I'll be sure to post them.
