How rare is Sand Aire tagging?

Circa 1971, but that's all I know. Color looks black, but it's actually dark blue. Any information? What about the stamped codes on the tags? Thanks.

Nice jersey. Sand Aire is somewhat common during the era, and not rare.

I noticed this jersey is currently on eBay. Is this your auction? Why would you attribute this to BYU? Penn State seems more logical and should be investigated:

BYU seems very unlikely to have used a Philly distributor, Pearson.

His wives told him to go with that description.

I'm thinking of buying. Not the seller. I asked about the BYU connection. It was previously sold as such. No other evidence.

I agree that Penn State is more likely. (Thanks for the roster link BTW.) Or maybe U of Penn Quakers. But the font of the '2' doesn't seem to match either school from the photos I can find from the era. Essentially that's why I haven't bought it.
