Any Way to Restore Hats?

Well, I got offered a hat that I would have bought immediately...but for some of the black was missing off the cap, due to moths. Is there a way to restore caps? If so, I would be very interested in doing as such to this hat. If not, then I'm missing out on a great item.

You could probably try a tailor or something like that. I know how to repair shape and rid caps of mold and odors, but that's all I've tried doing. If you go let us know how you fare.
