hunt auction confusion

So as of last night the Peyton jersey and the Eli jersey both had bids on then. I know for a fact that the Eli jersey had a bid and was above the reserve price. Today it says "did not sell" next to both jerseys. I got an email last night from dave hunt telling me that today begins the live auction, and he told me specifically that the eli is going to the live auction....Im not sure 100% about all of the other jerseys. My question is why would it be up to $4,950 last night, when the reserve was $4,500, and now it says "did not sell"?

My guess is that it has not sold yet because it is going to the live auction. I am sure that Hunt has been fielding "bids" in Indy that will be placed once the auction goes live. If there will for sure be higher bids than the $4,950, then that could be the case. The not sold if likely referring to the online auction portion.
