Glenn Cox, a RHP who spent portions of the 1955 through 1958 seasons with the Kansas City Athletics (1955 was the team's first season in KC) died on January 8.
His career was not much more than yearly September callups, but in '55 he did do something unusual for a pitcher, wearing a single-digit uniform number for the '55 season (#8).
