    What would you do...no, seriously

I'll keep this simple, and NO CAPS! (Doh!)

Bought a cracked Miguel Montero bat at Diamondbacks Fan Fest, with an MLB holo sticker indicating that the bat was signed on such-and-such a date - fine.

Except that there is obviously another sticker underneath it - made obvious by the fact that the sticker on top is somewhat offset from the one on the bottom.

Now I'm wondering whether the holo sticker on the bottom might indicate when the bat was cracked, and whether there's any way (or even if it's a good idea) to try to remove the sticker on top in order to read the other one.

Has anyone ever tried to take a sticker off, for any reason? Would I likely just screw up the top and bottom stickers if I did?

What if the sticker underneath was a mistake (i.e wrong number attached or the database entry was screwed up or something), and you ruin the top one to find that out. I wouldn't have thought that they would put stickers on top of each other if they had different entries. Would be good if you could search the database by names or dates.

    Mark.
