Manny Ramirez Wearing David Ortiz' Wristbands??

I was looking on getty images trying to style-match some Manny Ramirez wristbands and I noticed a lot of pictures from different games of Manny wearing David Ortiz' wristbands. Some games he wore his #24 wristbands and in other games he wore #34 wristbands. Does anybody know why he did this?

i would assume it might actually be due to superstition. It could have been done for at the time Ortiz may have been doing well and Manny wanted some good luck.

Players do stuff like that a lot. There was another thred wher it was pointed out That Arod was wearing Posadas wristbands and using a Posada bat, becuz Posada was on a hot streak and Arod wasn't doing so well. So as for good luck he wore Posadas stuff. Another thread here was showing Pujols using a Tino Martinez bat.

Pretty cool if you ask me, if you can get your hands on these items and be able to prove who wore it.
