Two game used bats

Hey guys. I picked both of these up a week ago. A Hunter Pence full/cracked Dinger bat, and a Carlos Gonzalez game used broken bat w/o the handle. I'd just like to know if first they're actually game used and second, when they were used. Any information will be greatly appreciated. I can get extra photos if y'all need them. Just let me know. Thanks guys!

I have seen both of these bats before. I got an email from the original seller of the bats a couple months ago. He works for an independent minor league team. They were cracked during independent league play. I can't say for sure that neither player used the bats, but most likely they did not. They were used by independent league players. The tape job on the Pence bats he showed me were not correct for what Pence uses.

So if they weren't used by Pence and Cargo, how did the independent league players get their hands on these bats? And did I make a mistake by buying these bats? Thank you for your help.

I traced the Pence bats to Reggie Abercrombie. He played with the Astros, then was released, and then signed to this particular Independent League team. Can't speak for sure on the Cargo.

Any former D'Backs, A's or Rockies that played with Cargo and made their way to Independent League? Just a thought.

Apparently Dinger also sells "overstock" cheap to minor leauge players as well. Several have been sold in the past as "pence game used" but the wrap jobs where very sloppy. I was contacted by several minor leauge players who had game used pence bats.
