    Helmet Help! Please

    Hello,
I just bought these three helmets and was wondering if you guys can give me some help. They are Cardinals, Yankees and Marlins. I believe they are professional model helmets, they have the wheel code inside. The Yankees is 96, cards is 96 and the Marlins is 97. All three helmets have "LAMB" on the back? I can't find any lamb that has played for these teams, so does anyone have any clues about these? Thanks

** Sorry for bad pics, took them with my Iphone.

I was thinking Mike Lamb, but he doesn't show up as a member of the Cardinals. Plus would they have issued him helmets from the 90's?

        Re: Helmet Help! Please

I have lots of helmets and usually the dates are at least 1-3 years before the use. I don't know if teams store these things like fine wine or the manufacturers only build them every few years or what, but a lag is typical.

Lamb was drafted in '97 so I could believe a 96 or 97 built helmet could be put into play in 2000 or even 2001.

Cardinals helmet date is 98, not 96.
