Wow. This balls looks real. People are bidding over $100 (so far) for a replica Reach ball made by Past Time Sports. Auction Title is misleading, but the description clearly says replica.

I was going to wait until the auction was over to post this one, but yeah that's pretty hard to believe that this is going for that much. The current high bidder has purchased some baseball boxes from me in the past, and he is often a competitor of mine on other baseballs so I'm not sure what he's thinking here.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I HATE this crap! :mad: Product like this can only have a very negative impact on our hobby. Someone may buy these, scuff them up, leave them out in the rain, and sell them as authentic. Heck everything from lemon peels to pennants made of felt that is just like the originals to split finger glove reproductions will leave unknowing buyers bitter and experienced collectors leary. You would be amazed how well professionals can age pieces that are purchased like new.
