A kind fellow member pointed out that a jersey I put for sale on this site seemingly has a mate for sale on eBay. Same player, same size, same season, same alternate color. Mine came from MEARS with their paperwork and I believe an A8 rating, the mate has no paperwork. Here's the rub:
It's a Vancouver Grizzlies Alternate black 1997/98 Doug Edwards jersey. Doug only ever played for them during the 1997 PRE-season, he did not make the team and he retired.
So experts, how likely is it that he was issued 2 Alternate jerseys for the Preseason? I don't want to accuse the guy of selling an issued as a game worn and frankly I don't know enough about the jerseys to make an educated guess. Can anyone help?
