Hello all,

This is my first post on the forum but I have read many informative posts on here over the years.

I was wondering if I could get some help with a photomatch on my game used Buster Posey Bat. This bat was purchased directly from the Giants and I believe it was Buster's first big league RBI. The MLB authentication shows it as from the first inning of the May 29, 2010 game.

I can get some more detailed pictures if needed but this is what I have already taken:

I am willing to pay for the photomatch assistance.

Thanks in advance,
Joe

Nice looking bat.
Wish I could find a game used milestone bat of Cano.
I'm sure someone on here will be able to help with the match, good luck and welcome to the board.

Joe, do you have any pics of the underside of the bat? Thanks!

Welcome to the board...found this on Corbis and it's the rbi swing.

Thanks,

I can see the slight nick under the 'San Fransisco Giants' and the grain looks to match. Is the bat uncracked?

Hey guys,

Thanks for the help so far. I can see the two marks under the
"San Francisco" in the picture as well. It looks like this is definately the bat used to hit his first RBI but I would like to get some clear larger photos (or maybe a video) of the hit to keep with the bat.

The bat does have a hairline crack down the handle. I have seen some quick video of the hit and it wasn't really a screamer, so he probably broke his bat with the hit.

I will try and get some better pictures of the front and back of the bat to help identify.

I have seen some guys use MLB.tv to match using actual game footage. Is this something that can be done for a game from 2010?

Thanks again guys,
Joe
