    A different kind of S.O.B.

I saw this in the just closed MEARS auction, and the unusual collar tag was (I thought) worth posting. For most of the 1990s, the Brewers held a Shirt Off Our Backs day, when the Brewers wore a special set of home game jerseys, signed them, and raffled them off after the game. Below is a tag from the 1993 Dickie Thon example, with year, name, inventory number and the SOB to identify it as a jersey ordered for the promotion.

Looks like they borrowed the idea from that great column in SCD back in the day - The Shirt Off My Back.

They had another Brewers S.O.B. in an earlier auction, maybe they
      will have more.

MEARS is in Milwaukee so they often have a lot of good Brewers stuff.
I happen to have grown up in WI as a Brewers fan, so that's not a problem
      for me.
