I was thinking maybe my disgust of the curtain call by the phenom was just my feelings towards him but I still feel the same way about the curtain call from Strasburg and I like him.

Anyone else with me that curtain calls for simply hitting your first career HR is a bit on the pathetic side???? I mean come on, whats next getting a curtain call for not striking out looking?

You are not wrong. However, I give the two of them just a smidge of leniency only because Washington has been so bad for so long and now they have 2 guys to call their own.

Granted, hearing "Bob Jones tips his hat to the crowd after going 0-4 with a walk and lowering his batting average below the current temperature" would be pretty hysterical.
