The year tag is wrong font, the name on back is too low, the twill material is the cheap pirated crap, and the size of the jersey is a size Mitchell and Ness never offered for retail sale. Oh...and the jersey should be a v-neck pull-over, not a button-down :-)

Curious now - for football M&N, what signs are there I'd need to look for to ensure mine are legit? If not, no big deal as they were all found at thrift stores (lol), but I figured I'd ask just out of curiosity for future reference!

I know a fair bit about the baseball jerseys because I have bought and sold them for many years now, but unfortunately know very little about the football jerseys (I can count the ones I own on one hand).

You might want to try Jersey Central; there are several guys over there who can help you with the authenticity of your M&N football jerseys.
