Lou Watson, a player and coach at Indiana University, died this past Thursday at age 88.
Watson played for the Hoosiers from 1947-50, selected in his final year as an All-Big Ten first teamer, and, at the time, Indiana's all-time leading scorer. He coached for the Hoosiers from 1966-71, when he was relieved of coaching duties in favor of Bobby Knight.
