I've always liked thebaseballcube.com as a source of information, simply because it includes player and team information that is far more complete than any other website I've ever discovered. College, minor league, independent, foreign...stuff the other sites frequently blow off.
My one thought about what would make it better has always been that if they would only add uniform numbers to their entries. It may have been going on for some time and I just noticed it today, but the entries on the cube now do have the uniform number that the player wore on a particular team. Like anything else, it's probably never going to be complete and without error, but it's certainly better than no information at all. I think this is very cool.
