How long before this ends up offered as "game used". I already feel sorry for that unsuspecting buyer who will pay thousands for this down the road.

Re: Disaster Waiting to Happen
Were Schmidt game worn jerseys tagged with a "SCHMIDT" name tag?
This could possibly be a gamer. No?Comment

Re: Disaster Waiting to Happen
I did not realize that Schmidt was on the Scoreboard roster. The eBay seller contacted me, and said he does not think it is a game worn jersey. He hopes no-one buys it with this assumption. His description seems accurate, to me.Comment

Re: Disaster Waiting to Happen
I'm glad the ad was posted because one thing missing from this jersey is the fact that it is not signed.
As far as I remember, ALL of the jerseys Scoreboard offered were autographed.
Not saying that this jersey is Game Used, just making an observation.

Re: Disaster Waiting to Happen
Just to add, from the research I've done on the Scoreboard jerseys, they all seem to lack a 4th laundering instruction "Do not use in Automatic Dryer" and the numeral font of the sizing is different from 1989 game issued/worn jerseys:
1989 Brian Holton Orioles with team letter:
Bo Jackson Scoreboard Jersey
Reggie Jackson
Schmidt

Re: Disaster Waiting to Happen
Another red flag: the Reggie Jackson jersey's size. He was a size 48 in his final season as a player (1987); a 44 wouldn't measure up.
