Andruw Jones game worn jersey---worn for 14 HR's!!!!

I was looking on eBay and found this guy who was selling some of his Andruw Jones game used. One of which is a jersey worn in 2004 and has the following inscription: "Andruw Jones Game Used 2004 HR 3,4,6,7,10,11,13,15,20,21,22,23,24,28". Andruw hit 29 home runs in 2004 so that means this road jersey was worn for an entire season. Is that possible? I never knew jerseys were worn for that long.

Kylehess a player can wear the Jersey as long as they want it's really up to the players which ones they want to wear. You got some players who may change every game and you got some who might wear the same Jersey the whole season.

Maybe Andruw wore this one for so long since he was doing good hitting home runs wearing it so maybe he always wanted to wear this one for Good Luck.

I am not a Braves fan so I don't follow there 2004 schedule but judging by the Home Runs that are marked on the Jersey it is possible he might have switch back and forth between this and another away Jersey.
Remember there is 81 Away Games - and only 14 Home Runs Marked on this Jersey.

Well you have to remember the home jersey too, that what the other home runs probably came from.

Kylehess mabe but were both just guessing, try to see if you can find photos maybe on GettyImages or some where else that you can find pics of Andruw hitting the Home Runs that are NOT marked - then see what Jersey he is wearing. If it is an Away Jersey then you know he had more then one Away Jersey.

              Kyle,
If you really want to do your homework on the jersey you can go to the Braves 2004 schedule and check the box scores and count up the number of homeruns that A. Jones hit on the road. and see if the add up to the number on the jersey. Here is one website you might want to try.

Baseball Almanac, the official source for MLB stats, history, records, awards and research.

              Good luck Braves fan
