Death of another NBA star

Orlando Woolridge, a 13-year NBA veteran who played for several teams over the course of his career, died at age 52 in hospice care. Cause of death was chronic heart illness.

Woolridge was a member of the 1978 Notre Dam Final Four team, and was a first round draft selection for the Chicago Bulls in 1981.

I had the opportunity to chat & play in pickup games with him a couple times, when he was working out at Valley College in the San Fernando Valley, CA. way back when.....He was a good guy and taught me a couple pretty cool things about hoops during our brief court time. Man, could he jump too! So, that's 3 ex-Bulls players I've come in contact with in the past that have passed away :( R.I.P "Mr. Hops"!
