    Identification Help: 1960s Football Jersey!

Heavyweight nylon knit. "Faux" flap on back, sewn on directly. Many team repairs, well-used. Made by Fab-Knit.
    Any ideas? THANKS!

Looks like some kind of Navy design with the stripes and the two stars in the back. I know our Naval base here in Alameda had teams for years made up of active serviceman in the 40's, 50's and into the 60's. They played local colleges and other armed forces teams.

Thanks, Dewey. Inter-armed forces teams? Quite possible. The collar "flap" with stars has Navy all over it. Fab-Knit is usually associated with Texas teams.
Of course, Texas has endless military bases.
Are there any colleges that used "Sailors" as a mascot?

I checked and there are two Naval Bases in Texas that have been around since WWII. They are NAS Kingsville and NAS Corpus Christi.
