Can anyone please help me identify this jersey??

Jersey is thought to possibly be a '99 Justice jersey. It was a cheap buy so I took the chance just in case.

A few things to consider when looking at this jersey...

-It does have the "Purchased from Cleveland Indians" stamp on it

-Notice which sleeve the "R" is located on

-There are no patches on the jersey (will take a closer look at the sleeves to see if a patch was possibly removed once i have ther jersey in hand)

-notice how faded the jersey is, and the bottom part of the jersey that tucks into the pants is not faded

-the number font looks correct for the 1999 year

oh and i forgot, there is a size tag in the neck collar.

This one could have multiple wearers (including Justice).

The Russell logo on the left sleeve and the tag design would point to no earlier than 2000, although the MLB neck logo doesn't seem to be there, either. Justice started the year wearing #23, and the number was worn later in the season by both David Segui and Ricky Ledee (and, given the fading, maybe the jersey, as well).

The collar tag for Russell Indians BPs is not unusual.

I think you've got an item which Justice wore, at least in part, although the lack of a neck MLB logo is going to need explanation.

Thanks a lot Dave, but it looks like the Indiands used Majestic in 2000 for their bp or st jerseys.

For 1999, I believe the Indians wore Starter BPs.

Here is what i saw on Getty. The first pic is clearly the same number font and is a Russell shirt just like the second pic taken in ST 1999.

The 3rd pic w/ DJ batting is from ST 2000 and is clearly a Magestic shirt.

The 2000 Magestics had the MLB logo on the neck and a different font for the numbers than what was on the Russells in 1999.

I have no explaination for why the R is on the opposite sleeve either.
