There is a supposed L.T. gamer on e-bay. What do you guys think?

"am selling this for a friend. He nor I were present to see Ladanian use it so we really can't say."

I would avoid.

Every Tomlinson game worn jersey I've seen was a size 48 - including during the 2005 season. Also, every game worn jersey I've seen from 2005 forward had elastic along the waist band. There may be other issues beyond those two, but after seeing those two questionable features I moved on.

I would say buyer beware....There seem to be way more fake LT Jerseys out there than real ones. There are a few unwashed with team repairs that originated from Steve Misturini and are known to be forged Jerseys.

I'll let the Chargers guys chime in, but I believe good ones are few and far between and most of the good ones originated from NFL Auctions.

If you can buy it for short $ and try to match it maybe you can get lucky....although I'm sure a bunch of guys are thinking the same thing....if perfectly matched, it could be worth 5-10K.

While anything is possible, the repair stitching seems different than what I have seen. Just my opinion

I won't argue with that statement...when I was MEARS, I looked at (and thumbs-downed) a bogus L.T. Draft Day event-worn jersey.

I went back and looked at the repair stitching that Eric mentioned and it looks more like it was sewn by hand then machine.

It's certainly possible that some teams would repair by hand, but it brought back memories of several bad Jerseys carrying an ASI hologram that were proven to be fake and had similar loose repair stitching. I certainly can't confirm it's authenticity either way but just wanted to point that out.

Got close to $1500 for it.....maybe a good deal.....or Maybe not?

Here is what originally bothered me....The Seller never sold a GU Jersey in his life......3 day auction......no returns allowed....Classic cover his ass disclosure that should hold up in court.
"I am selling this for a friend. He nor I were present to see Ladanian use it so we really can't say."

I'm guessing that the buyer may not have been an active forum member?;)

Wow! This guy got $1,425 for this jersey!

No Cert or anything. I hope it's real for the buyers sake.

I wonder how much can I get for my 2002 photo match one I got from Tay Cody?
