Hi. I picked this bat up recently, and I believe this is a true game used 125 Ernie Banks bat. Can anyone please help verify or validate this. I snapped a few photos of the bat, including the stamping on the knob that I'm not sure of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it was a store model wouldn't it have an "S" directly after the 125..? Thanks for the quick reply.

Wouldn't it also say SPECIAL above his name on the barrel, instead of genuine..? Thanks

The 3 stamped in the knob indicates it is 33" long and a store model.

Thanks. So a 125 doesn't make it automatically game used..? Thanks

so how much did you pay for it?

Definitely a store model bat (foil stampings are another clue). I would estimate the value in the $20 range (as a display piece solely).

Correct. Sometimes on newer store model bats there will be a line underneath the 125.
