Whoever bought it may want to get their money back.... That style looks like its from the 2006 FIBA Games, not the 2008 Olympics. 2008 olympics used sizes like 2xl, 3xl, and had gold embroidery above the tail tag that says "Games of the XXIX Olympiad"

Take a look at this one from the 2008 Preliminary Games. Meigray Tagged two Preliminary Olymic Games that year that were sold on NBA auctions in '08 :

The one that went for $300 i believe is the style used in the 2006 Fiba games But may not qualify as even game issued... it does not have the Fiba Patch on the left shoulder, and unless he used two different numbers in the Fiba games, may be the wrong roster number. I'm not positive on this, maybe they used this style for a couple years building up the 08's olympics with some games without the Fiba Patch and different roster number, but I havent seen an exact style match for Howard in this jersey...

Wow, nice price markup of 4x on the "real" DH Olympic you posted the link on Ebay from 2008 China games. Price with hammer was ~$1000 from the GFC auction it originated from. Good luck getting $4500... LMAO :rolleyes:

I agree, it's Definately Alot more than what it sold through GF for. Are you saying good luck to me? It's not my listing, just using it as a 08 style example, although I did make a " best offer " on it at one point....

I feel bad for the guy that paid 300$ for the fake jersey, I only collect football and baseball just for the reasoning as very few NBA jerseys have stains or markings that can be photomatched. I dont know much about NBA game used items do they have an authentication process like MLB and NFL have? I know its odd and I hardly ever see any for sale but does anyone know where you can get GU tennis items? I am just a collect and would be kind of neat to have a pair of Andy Roddick shoes he played is as I collect cleats.
