Is the opening bid on this too high? I would think it would have at least 1 bid by now. Does anyone have an idea what Harper Nats jerseys, caps, bats would go for at auction?

What is "this?" Was there a link?

The woman handling game used said the team hoped to get $12,000 for a Harper jersey in a charity auction. So far nothing yet TMK. The Nats' owners and charity are an oxymoron.

they sold two of his jerseys for 5k each earlier this year. Even with it being a charity and a tax write off and his all star appearance (despite other players putting up much better numbers IMO) I can't see 12k for his jersey

I'm sure many people aren't bidding because AmMem has the ability to step in and up your max bids, plus they have hidden reserves, so an item you may go to bed being the high bidder on will show up the next day as unsold. I rarely even bother bidding with them because this always seems to happen.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think AM allows sellers to list and manage
their own items which can potentially lead to the same problems you see on
Ebay (ending listings early, shill bidding, "hidden" reserves, etc)

With that being said with all the problems AM has had in the past I'm
still impressed with caliber of items they bring in.

I have not bid on anything in AM auctions for quite some time but when I did
and won I never had any issues.

i think at the opening bid its not a bad price at all. Lets see how it ends

And I'll bet you $50 the opening bid is NOT enough to win this jersey.
