Interesting Q&A with Louisville Slugger rep. He talks about going into clubhouse and player's orders. Good info on Biggio and Soriano. Although I don't know how much Soriano uses LS. Also on how maple wood has increased. There is also a video link of them making 2006 World Series bats for the player's. The guy in video mentions Guillen ordering 5. Nice short video of the process as well.

The "one of a kind" model bat that Biggio uses is the same bat that Paul Molitor liked to use.

Great post. It's funny they mention Soriano who is clearly a SAM guy, but supposedly Alfonso ran out of SAMs on the road in interleague in Boston and had to use his MAX and LS. Since the LS Maple has that clear plastic label, Soriano's pine tar didn't adhere as well so you could see him using the bats.
