Also on how maple wood has increased. There is also a video link of them making 2006 World Series bats for the player's. The guy in video mentions Guillen ordering 5. Great post. It's funny they mention Soriano who is clearly a SAM guy, but supposedly Alfonso ran out of SAMs on the road in interleague in Boston and had to use his MAX and LS. Since the LS Maple has that clear plastic label, Soriano's pine tar didn't adhere as well so you could see him using the bats.
