What kind of Oregon College Jersey is this?

Hello All,

This looks like a baseball jersey, with the exception of the strange sash emblazoned across the front. Is this perhaps a female softball jersey?

It is tagged an XL and measures approx. 23 inches from pit to pit, which seems like more of a men's size to me. I also have to wonder if this was a basketball pullover shooting shirt.

Any ideas?
