Does anybody know which Company puts out the CBA's Jerseys and what the proper taggging would be on one? I have a Pittsburgh Piranhas Jersey from the 1994-95 season (their only one) and I am trying to determine if it is authentic.

Re: CBA Jersey Question
We used to have two cba teams in La crosse, WI here, the pittsburgh team used to be the la crosse catbirds before pitts bought the team, then we had the Bobcats, anyways I too have been looking for a game jersey from either of the 2 la crosse teams...
I used to have season tickets to both teams and they wore Wilson (and so did the league) for a number of seasons, not sure about 95 though... -
Re: CBA Jersey Question
I've had both mid to late 80's versions, and 90's versions of CBA gamers.
I know that for some years almost all teams used CBA, shirts came with a designed exclusively for the CBA tag, and 90's shirts were often made by off brand companies like BIKE.

Re: CBA Jersey Question
I had to do some digging but pulled up the info on the JR patch from a list of league commissioners
1988-1989 - Jay Ramsdell
At 13 years old in 1978, Jay Ramsdell was the statistician for the Maine Lumberjacks. He later worked his way up the CBA ladder, serving as deputy commissioner under Jim Drucker, Carl Scheer and Mike Storen. His tenure as league commissioner was too brief; on July 19, 1989, Ramsdell and deputy commissioner Jerry Schemmel were on a flight to attend the CBA college draft in Columbus, when their plane, United Airlines flight 232, crashed in Sioux City, Iowa. Ramsdell was 25 years old. The CBA playoff championship trophy was renamed the Jay Ramsdell Trophy in his honor and memory.
My guess then is that they wore it for more than one year (I know it was worn in 1991-92...likely as early as 1989 when he passed away)Comment
