Ryan Zimmerman Batting Glove Question

I've got a Ryan Zimmerman batting glove question. I'm sure Andrew Lang knows the answer but thought I'd put this out for all. I recently acquired a pair of GU batting gloves. They appear to be from 2008 and match the style of a pair Andrew posted here.

You'll note on both pair the tag "ZIM 11." But I've also seen photos from the 2008 season like the one here that shows him wearing gloves with the tag "ZIMM 11". Any thoughts on this?

I'm trying to get a photo style match.
