What am I doing wrong??

I listed a game used helmet on eBay under
Sports Mem, Cards & Fan Shop (http://www.ebay.com/sch/Sports-Mem-Cards-Fan-Shop-/64482/i.html)>Game Used Memorabilia (http://www.ebay.com/sch/Game-Used-Memorabilia-/50116/i.html)>Football-NFL (http://www.ebay.com/sch/Football-NFL-/86826/i.html)>Helmet (http://www.ebay.com/sch/Helmet-/86828/i.html) category and it does not show up when I search that category. My page shows it as listed, but when I search the category it doesn't show up with all the other helmets.

Any ideas??

When you first list it, you can see it in your selling list, but won't see it right away if you do a search. Ebay refreshes every so often, so if you check a little later, you will see it.

I had this concern a few years ago as I had a large number of hockey tickets for sale for a big outdoor game that was playing the next day and wasn't showing up in the search engines fast enough (yes, the game at Wrigley).

I called eBay and they told me that every listing on eBay is reviewed manually before it is released into the search engine. Even if it is a second review of the title, it is reviewed quickly so that is often the reason there would be a delay.

Don't know if they were being honest with me, but that is how the search engine delay was explained to me. Other times I list an item and it is searchable after just a few seconds so I don't know if I believed them or not.
