$5k for Pedro? That's a lot of change for a guy who saw less postseason action than the bat boys.

I guess the Glavine and Wright shirts were all cherry-picked... I wonder what they went for...

$5000 for the Pedro is remarkable, I agree. More power to them if they can get those prices, though.

Yep, kudos to Steiner if they sell. I wonder how much the Chavez went for. Cool shirt to pair with a photo of him making that superb catch in game 7.

I thought I had that one on hold. Someone got Chavez and Glavine before the box arrived.

And the Wright?

And the Wright? Reid - Good question. You are right, not on the list.

I just bought the Tucker jersey for a great client of mine. Thought that was a good price for someone who actually appeared in a pinstripe and did something positive ( 1 for 1 w/ a stolen base and run scored)!

The Delgado based on the series he had seems like a reasonable price. A lot of "walks" (3 of them) on that jersey (lol).

Some really disappointing prices there... not only the eyesores like $5K for Pedro, but even the lesser players pricing out at $500... it's not like they won the series or anything. I could understand even $300, as these are a little more special than a regular season game jersey, but they are not exactly championship year jerseys, and not every player listed is a star.
I'll venture a guess that most of these will not sell, and they will appear in the near future on MLB or Steiner auctions...

I emailed Bob to ask if they had any special tagging. In 86 and 88 the Mets put special PO tags in their jerseys. These jersey do not have any but do come w/ the Steiner letter.

It would have been nice to have the special tagging.

Nice to visit with you all again...and thanks Juan, for posting the updated info. To add to David's post, while the jerseys do not have special tagging, they are authenticated as NLCS jerseys by the Mets & MLB (and come with MLB holo), I know that aesthetically that is not the same as a special tag or patch, but an extra detail nonetheless.

Regarding pricing, as with any item and any company selling an item, the marketplace will determine whether something moves or not. The higher end jerseys have their own niche marketplace and pricing, and that has been commented on numerous times for better or worse, but the lower end guys sold briskly all year long in the $250-400 range, and given that, setting NLCS pricing at $500-700 for those players is not a huge departure... but as they say in the financial industry--people vote with their money, so we will see.

For those people interested in what remains from the NLCS jerseys, subtract Chavez, Glavine, Beltran, Heilman, Bradford, Valentin, Tucker, LoDuca from the list, as they have sold since yesterday...I believe that leaves 11 players & 5 coaches jerseys.

Feel free to contact me with any additional questions.
