Re: Strawberry G/U jersey
I saw this one too... and my first thought without doing much research was Scoreboard... it met the year requirement, and the tagging looks identical. I don't know much about the history of the jersey, having come from a museum... but I do know that many Scoreboard jerseys of that day were for autographing. Bottom line with me... if I didn't have any doubt, I would have bid in a heartbeat, but it was too much of a gamble for my likes. I think that if others were 100% certain too, it would have sold for a bit more than $400. Either someone out there got a nice buy, or overpaid by a couple of hundred.Looking for ...

Re: Strawberry G/U jersey
Sorry for getting to you late on this one Swoboda.
I personally was not comfortable with this one. I could not put my finger on it but something just didnt look right. I emailed the seller and he wrote me back stating it is real, I also asked him where he got it from and he told me he doesnt remember. So I am not exactly too comfortable with that.
I agree with the other member also its possibly a scoreboard.
I am by no means saying it is fake I am just saying I personally am not comfortable with it otherwise I would have won this jersey lol lolComment

If he knew the history of the jersey in great detail, why would he not know anything about it when asked? Not good...Looking for ...
