Buster Posey Game Worn Shinguards - Someone's Holy Grail

The latest MEARS auction just opened and it looks like they have quite a few quality items this time around. One thing that caught my eye is the Buster Posey shinguards he was wearing in 2011 when Scott Cousins collided into him and ended his season! I don't believe a game used pair of Posey shinguards have been offered before:

My brothernlaw just sold these on ebay for $1,200. How quickly they reappear. He didn't sell them as from the game Posey got hurt, so I wonder if they were photomatched.

MEARS also has a really nice rookie-era Fred Lynn Red Sox batting helmet... That thing is niiiiicccceeee....

MLB.com Auctions sold Posey's catcher's gear in a few lots last year...one for the helmet, etc.

But as I recall, they went for a lot more than $1,200 apiece, and the same person won all three auctions.
