SSK Bats-Numbers on knob

This was posted before but it got buried under one of my old threads.
I now know of two bats that I need help with:

One bat has A1 and then 300312 on the knob
The other has A1 and then 260412 on the knob

Could it be the day first, then month, and then year?

I am gonna say yes, Day/Month/Year. SSK is a Japanese company and the Japanese like the rest of the world outside of America go Day then Month. I guess we like to be different in America. Hence our complete looking the other way on the metric system :)
