    Can old games be ordered?

Here is probably a really dumb question and it would probably be easy to find out on my own, I just figured I would ask someone here since I never tried looking for an old game.

Does anyone know if you can order from somewhere a specific game on dvd or video?
I am not talking about a world series or anything just a regular season game.

I always wonder the same thing. The only videos I can find are from the World Series,Playoffs, and All Star Game. You'd be lucky if you can even find a bootleg copy. I know MLB has every single game ever recorded but every time I e-mail them I get no reply.

Good question. I wanted to get old regular season games to try to photo match stuff.

Have you tried contacting a team directly or the station that broadcasts the games?

MLB doesn't have "every game ever recorded". They have a lot of them from more modern times, but anything pre-1975 is pretty rare because there simply wasn't the modern recording technology. RareSportsFilms.com has a pretty decent selection of things, some highlight tapes dating way back but also a few complete or nearly complete games from various years. There is also a group somewhere on the internet that trades complete VHS games in all sports.
