1993 Detroit Tigers Batting Jersey Orange Boomer Wells?

Maybe Larry Bourget or some of you awesome Tigers fan can help me on this one. I purchased this at a great price, and very rarely do you see these hit the hobby. Im trying to ascertain if this could have been worn by David Wells who played for the tigers starting in 1993 kind of a vague question but worth a shot. No signs of a number change, although the #57 on the taggng throws me off. The seller said he got this in lakeland florida during spring training in 1993. ....Photomatch of this style will also help.

In my opinion, the fact that the jersey is mesh will make it very difficult to find a number change. You just will not see the stitch holes you may see on a doublt-knit solid poly. I'd proceed with caution here...

Just to clarify it wasnt advertised as a Wells gamer...I just so happened to see that he wore #16 when he played for the Tigers. Anyhow Im just glad to get this style.

57 is the inventory code that the Tigers use. it does not represent the number of the jersey of the player it is issued to. hope this helps. Nice jersey...
