Who is Twins Gomez No. 72 2008

Can anyone shred a light on this one?

I have a Twins home No. 72 with Gomez NOB on a plate. It's MLB authenticated to Gomez as team issued Nov. 5, 2008.

Might this be Carlos Gomez's ST jersey? He joined the Twins from the 2007 Mets.

La Velle E. Neal III, of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, reports the Minnesota Twins have signed P Mariano Gomez to a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training.

The Minnesota Twins signed Gomez on November 29 and he pitched in four games for the Twins in spring training before being assigned to the Triple-A Rochester Red Wings where he pitched in Triple-A for the first time in his career.
