Does the Thome hat in this auction look authentic GU to you guys?

It looks like a late 90's (maybe 1998) but i've never seen that stamp on the underside of the brim before.

i've seen that stamp before (I own a Bill Ripken Indians cap with the same thing)

Looks legit. Indians caps from this period have those stamps. The cap itself appears to be from 1996 or 1997.

Cap has the right tag from when he was in Cleveland. I would ask the seller questions as to when the autograph was signed and whether he has a receipt for when he bought it and if the receipt has any mention of it being Thome's hat.

I would also do research on the hat size of Thome.

The cap is sized correctly, and the stamp gives the impression that it came from one of the several bulk purchase Robb Wochnick made from the team in the late 199s and early 2000s when he ran Sports Warehouse.
