I recently bought a game used bat of Jerry Owens, former White Sox outfielder. This is my 5th bat of his. On the other bats I have, he wrote his number on the knob. On the one I just bought, "Dios P.Lo" is written on the knob. There is also writing where it says Old Hickory (see picture). I was wondering if anybody could tell me what this means. Thanks!

Dios means God in Spanish, not sure about the P. Lo part, perhaps an abbreviation for something?

I know about Dios, but have no clue about anything else. Jerry Owens isn't hispanic, so I'm thinking somebody else used that bat

opps. never teammate. was some dudes roto league team.

anyways thought i owed you better so did further search

and its likely a teammate Pedro Lopez, teammates from 2006 Charlotte Knights, affiliate for the only CWS. From his surname he is Latino and the Dios inscription makes more sense. So this could be a bat from Jerry Owens given to his buddy Pedro Lopez.
